Before Maryland: Starred for Lower Dauphin High School…notched the third-highest single season batting average in school history as a senior (.491)…member of the Mid-Penn All-Star team for three consecutive season (2014, 2015, 2016)…received 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Atlantic Region Honorable Mention honors…ranked 13th on Baseball American’s Pennsylvania draft prospects list…voted a top male athlete to watch on Penn Live…played club ball for Chandler, USA Elite and Evoshield Canes.

Personal: Son of Alan Friedrich and Pam Blanch-Freidrich…was on the honor roll at Lower Dauphin…volunteered at his local Ronald McDonald house…assisted with coaching soccer to special needs children…lists his sports heroes as Buster Posey and Derek Jeter.
