Eighth overall and second on team at Great American Festival in Cary, N.C., covering 8K in 24:50... Finished 43rd overall and second on team at ACC Championship, also on Cary Course, finishing in 25:00.6... Fourth Terp to the line and 82nd overall at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, going 34:16.9 over 10K.
BEFORE MARYLAND - Transferred from American University... Won Patriot League cross country title in 2007, running mostly in No. 5 spot... Finalist both indoors and outdoors in 1,500 as a freshman... Track bests at AU - 800: 1:57; 1500: 3:54; mile: 4:23; 3,000: 8:48; 5,000: 15:12.
Lettered four years in outdoor track & field and cross country at Blake HS... lettered two years in indoor track & field for the Bengals... Regional champion in 3,200 outdoors in 2007... Had four top-10 finishes at 4A state meet in 3,200, including a second as a senior... Third in 4A state 3,200 indoors... First team all-county XC in 2006.
