Ran 27:05 over 8K at Lehigh Paul Short Run two weeks later... Covered Penn State National course in 28:13 over 5.2-mile route.
2009 CROSS COUNTRY - Appeared in one event for Terps, finishing 20th overall and sixth on the team as Maryland won the UMES Lid-Lifter... Went 27:13.7 over 8K course.
2008 CROSS COUNTRY - Did not compete.
BEFORE MARYLAND - Baltimore County and regional champion in cross country as a senior... Finished 5th at States... Was 7th in Class 4A regional as a junior... Excelled on track as a senior, winning Baltimore County titles in 800 and 1,600, as well as regional titles in 1,600 and 3,200... Placed 2nd at states in 1,600 and 3rd in 3,200 as a senior... Finished 8th at states in 800 as a junior... Runner-up at Baltimore County Championships in 2006 after winning 800-meter title as a freshman... Pre-Maryland PRs - 400: 51.5; 800: 1:56.1; 1,600 - 4:19.2; 3,200 - 9:30.4.
