2018 Outdoor (Sophomore): Placed 3rd in the 5000m (17:45.94) at the Maryland Invitational (3/17)…placed 3rd in the Navy Men’s Invitational (3/31) in the 5000m (17:51.27).
2017 Outdoor (Freshman): Won the 5000m (17:27.94) at the UNF Spring Break Invitational (3/24)…finished in 9th place in the 3000m (10:03.60) during the Colonial Relays (3/30-4/1)…had a top 20 finish in the 5000m (17:21.66) at the Larry Ellis Invitational (4/21-22)…took 2nd place in the 5000m (17:35.19) during the Kehoe Twilight Meet (5/5)…finished in 22nd place in the 10000m (35:52.37) during the Big Ten Championships (5/12-14).
2017 Indoor (Freshman): Competed at five events…finished 13th in the 3000m (10:10.81) at the Nittany Lion Challenge (1/14)…took 6th place in the 5000m (17:29.15) during the Terrapin Invitational (1/21)…placed 4th in the 5000m (17:19.21) at the Armory Track Invitational (2/3-4)…had a top 20 finish in the 3000m (9:58.62) during the SPIRE NCAA D1 Indoor Track Meet (2/10-11)…finished 24th in the 5000m (17:11.34) during the Big Ten Championships (2/24-25).
2016 Cross Country (Freshman): Put together solid freshman campaign, where she was a top-three runner for the Terps in all six meets…won first collegiate meet at the Mount St. Mary’s 5K Duals, leading the pack with a mark of 18:01.50 (9/2)…was the No. 1 runner for the Terps at the Salty Dog Invite, finishing third overall with a time of 23:06.76 (9/10)…was Maryland’s No. 1 runner at Paul Short Invite, clocking in at 21:10.00 to take 78th overall (10/1)…took 11th overall as Maryland’s No. 2 runner at Princeton Invitational (10/15)…finished 67th as Maryland’s No. 2 runner at Big Ten Championship in 22:51.50 (10/30)…58th overall and UMD’s No. 3 runner at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals (11/11).
Before Maryland: Lettered in cross country and track at Easton High School...also played lacrosse.
Personal: Daughter of Brian and Shelly Gearhart...has three brothers, Graham, Ben and Jack...majoring in letters and sciences.
