Team Records and Series Notes
• Maryland falls to 18-11 overall and 5-9 in the ACC, while Florida State improves to 26-4 and 12-2 in the conference. The Terps still lead the all time series over the Seminoles, 24-12.
• Prior to Sunday’s match-up, the Terrapins had won the last four straight over the Seminoles and are 13-4 at home against them.
• Head coach Brenda Frese is now 251-101 with a winning percentage of .713. After Sunday's game, she currently stands at 194-71 (.732) at Maryland.
• Maryland will head to Greensboro, N.C. this week to play in the ACC tournament. The Terps will play Thursday, March 4.
Team Game Notes
• Line-up: Dara Taylor, Lynetta Kizer, Diandra Tchatchouang, Lori Bjork and Kim Rodgers. This lineup falls to 3-5 on the year.
• Two Terps finished in double figures for the sixth time this season. Freshman Diandra Tchatchouang led the Terrapins with 23 points and sophomore Lynetta Kizer finished with 17. They are now 3-3 when two players hit the double-digit mark.
• Diandra Tchatchouang and Lynetta Kizer combined for 40 of the Terps’ 61 points. Together, they were 16-for-27 from the field, a percentage of .593. The duo also were 5-for-9 from outside the arc.
Individual Game Notes
• Freshman Diandra Tchatchouang had 23 points, her second-highest total of her career. She was 10-for-17 from the field. Prior to Sunday’s game, she had never made ten shots in a game. She was also 3-for-7 from outside the arc. The last time she made three treys in a game was against Old Dominion on Nov. 19. She also grabbed five rebounds and notched two blocks.
• Sophomore Lynetta Kizer had 17 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the field. She was also perfect from behind the arc (2-for-2) and was 3-for-4 from the charity stripe. She also had a block and two rebounds.
• Sophomore guard Anjale Barrett was 1-for-3 from the field with 2 points, a rebound and a block. The block was her first of the season and just her third career block.
