Biography

As a Senior (2012): Made 16 appearances with a team-high 13 starts and ranked second on the team in innings pitched (71.1) ... finished the season with a 4-3 record and a 4.04 ERA ... issued just 16 walks on the year while striking out 44 ... seven of his 13 starts lasted at least 6-2/3 innings ... didn't allow an earned run in seven innings against Purdue (2/25), scattering four hits while matching a career high with eight strikeouts to pick up the win ... named to the CollegiateBaseball360.com weekly honor roll for his performance against the Boilermakers ... pitched a complete game (7 innings) against Manhattan (3/3), allowing just two hits and one unearned run while striking out six ... made a mid-week start against George Washington (3/20) and allowed just two hits in four shutout innings ... had to leave his start against No. 12 Miami (3/24) after just 1-2/3 innings due to neck stiffness ... logged a career-high eight innings against Boston College (3/31), surrendering just one run while striking out seven and issuing no walks to earn the win ... gave up just one earned run in seven innings against No. 17 NC State, scattering seven hits while striking out four without issuing a walk ... left the game with a 6-3 lead but didn't factor into the decision ... turned in his third straight start of at least seven innings by going 7-1/3 against Duke (4/15), allowing three runs on seven hits, but didn't factor into the decision ... held Clemson to two runs in his first 6-1/3 innings, but surrendered three runs in the seventh and took the loss ... allowed three runs on six hits in three innings in a loss at Virginia Tech (4/29) ... pitched two innings of relief at George Mason, retiring all five batters faced with one pickoff of a runner he inherited ... lasted just one inning in a start at Florida State (5/7), surrendering two runs on four hits ... pitched a scoreless inning of relief against Penn State (5/9) ... scattered 11 hits in 7-2/3 innings against Virginia (5/19), striking out four and walking two while allowing four runs.

As a Sophomore at Western Nevada (2010): Finished year with 2.57 ERA and 5-3 record in 17 appearances ... pitched in 49.0 innings, allowing just a .212 batting average.

As a Freshman at Western Nevada (2009): Finished year with 3.64 ERA and 7-4 record in 17 appearances, including 12 starts ... pitched 76.2 innings, striking out 64 batters and allowing opponents to just a .219 batting average.
