As a Freshman (2019): Appeared in 29 games with 25 starts...made all of his starts at DH...slashed .235/.350/.418 with three home runs, two triples and five doubles...scored 13 runs and drove in 13 with 23 hits...walked 16 times to 41 strikeouts...went 2-for-4 on stolen bases...made his first career appearance as a pinch hitter against Indiana (3/30)...his first career hit was a home run against Indiana (3/31)...notched a home run at Illinois (4/6)...hit a home run and picked up his first multi-hit game against William & Mary (4/9)...reached base three times against Northwestern (4/13)...had three RBIs against Iowa (5/13)...totaled three hits and two RBIs in three Big Ten Tournament starts. 

Before Maryland: Starred at Salesianum High School...batted over .300 in all four of his seasons, including .415 during his final season...named second-team all-state.

Personal: Son of Jeff and Kim Maguire...has one brother, Conor...lists his sports hero as Conor McGregor...favorite pregame meal is a Snickers bar.
