Before Maryland: Played two seasons at Ellsworth College...hit .384 with 22 doubles and seven home runs as in 2018...hit .328 with 17 doubles and seven homers as a freshman...2018 All-Region Honorable Mention...played high school at Woodbury High School...hit .351 with 10 doubles and four homers as a senior...hit .373 with nine double and a pair of homers as a junior...hit .344 as a sophomore and .283 as a freshman...an all-conference selection in 2015 and 2016...team finished third in the state in 2016.

Personal: Son of Angel Mancera and Lynn Holte...has four siblings, Alex, Allen, Oscar and Andres...said it has always been his dream to play in the Big Ten...would title his biography "Chip On My Shoulder".
