As a Junior (2007): Started 52 games, mostly at second base ... hit two home runs and eight doubles as part of a .255 batting average ... his 11 stolen bases was second on the team ... went 2-for-3 with two runs in the season opener at Winthrop (Feb. 9) ... was 1-for-4 with two RBIs in win over Lafayette (March 3) ... was a perfect 4-for-4 in win over Coppin State (March 14) ... marked back-to-back games with two RBIs in wins over Miami and VCU (March 18/21) ... hit second homer in top of the ninth inning in loss to Georgia Tech, part of a 3-for-4, three RBI day at the plate (March 30) ... was 2-for-3 with two RBIs in win over UMBC, including a home run (April 3) ... drove in a run with his double in loss at ODU (April 11) ... was 3-for-5 with an RBI against Boston College (April 14) ... hit a pair of doubles in win at Duke (April 20).

At Pierce (2005): Hit .314 with 21 RBIs, seven doubles, one home run and five stolen bases in his only season at Pierce College ... named All-Western State Conference ... was selected in the 35th round of the 2005 Draft by the Oakland Athletics ... prior to his season at Pierce, spent one year at Fresno State, where he redshirted.
At Granada Hills: Lettered three times, playing shortstop, third base and centerfield ... as a senior, batted .400 with two home runs and 16 steals and compiled a .475 on-base percentage ... was named All-West Valley League, earning a spot in the Valley Invitational All-Star game ... during his junior season, he hit .357 with three homers, 15 stolen bases and a .475 OBP ... earned numerous team accolades over the years, including MVP, Most Improved Player and Defensive Player of the Year (twice).
Personal: Son of Diane and Joe Braun ... a member of the Dean's List at Pierce and Fresno State ... older brother, Ryan, also played ACC baseball at Miami and was recently selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2005 Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers ... majoring in business.
