Biography

As a Senior (2017): Appeared in six games on the defensive line, totaling seven tackles ... had three tackles and 1.5 sacks against Towson (9/9) ... posted three tackles, including 1.0 TFL against Penn State (11/25).

As a Redshirt Junior (2016): Appeared in five games, primarily on special teams.

As a Junior (2015): Did not see game action due to injury ... named offensive scout team player of the week for preparation for Rutgers (11/28).

As a Sophomore (2014): Appeared in the first four games of the season and started three at tight end ... suffered a season-ending injury at Syracuse (9/20) ... earned his first collegiate start against James Madison (8/30) ... caught his first career pass against West Virginia (9/15).

As a Freshman (2013): Played in 11 games primarily on special teams ... started first career game at tight end against Syracuse (11/9).

At Manchester High School: Tabbed the top player in Connecticut by Rivals, a four-star recruit and the ninth-rated tight end … ranked a three-star recruit by ESPN.com, 247Sports.com and Scout.com … was a two-time all-state and all-conference selection … named to the 2012 Walter Camp All-State team as a tight end … served as team captain as a junior and senior… as a senior, totaled 32 receptions for 445 yards and five touchdowns … as a defensive end, recorded 103 tackles and 10 sacks … also played basketball as a freshman and sophomore … received the Tim Travis Award as the team’s top junior in 2011 … also considered Boston College, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rutgers, Temple and Tennessee … coached by Marco Pizzoferrato.
