th at the 2018 US Amateur Qualifier…won the 2016 Pennsylvania Golf Association Junior State Championship…finished fourth at the 2016 Williamson Cup…named Malvern Prep team MVP in 2016, 2017, 2018…earned First-Team All Inter-Academic League honors in all four years…won the 2018 Inter-Ac Invitational Tournament with Malvern Prep and the 2015 Tournament with Haverford School.
Before Maryland: Parents are James and Connie Updike…has a sister, Amelia, and a brother, Mac, who plays lacrosse at Navy…mother played tennis at Loyola University…named to the Malvern Prep Academic Honor Roll and twice received Distinguished Honors…came to Maryland because he “felt that it was a great fit both academically and athletically.
