Daniel’s role supports Olympic Sports, namely the Volleyball and Softball programs, coordinating team travel and day-to-day operational planning. A UMD alum with a knack for keeping things running smoothly behind the scene, he helped host the 2026 Big Ten Softball Tournament.
Prior to this role, Daniel contributed to Maryland Athletics across multiple programs and departments. Primarily serving as a Logistical Operations intern for Men's Soccer and Men's Lacrosse, where he assisted with travel coordination, equipment setup, and video analysis to support coaching staff and player development. He was part of a Men's Soccer team that claimed the Big Ten Regular Season Championship, reached the Big Ten Tournament Semifinals, and NCAA Tournament Elite Eight. As well as a Men's Lacrosse program that claimed a share of the 2026 Big Ten Regular Season Championship, made three Big Ten Tournament appearances, and two NCAA Championship appearances. Daniel also worked with Equipment, managing inventory and gear distribution for student-athletes and support staff across the department.
A native of Cochranville, Pennsylvania, Daniel earned his BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Maryland in 2025.
