Jerry Rodriguez enters his second year as Assistant Director of Strategic Communication and Content Development, serving as the primary communications contact for Maryland women's lacrosse and as a secondary contact for the football program.
Rodriguez was promoted to Assistant Director of Strategic Communication and Content Development in June 2025 after serving as a Strategic Communication Assistant for a year and a half. During his time at Maryland, he has worked closely with a variety of programs, including women's basketball, field hockey, softball, women's lacrosse, and football.
Before joining Maryland, Rodriguez spent two years as an Athletic Communications Assistant at Rutgers University, where he worked closely with the men's basketball and football programs, while also supporting several other athletic teams.
A native of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, Rodriguez earned a bachelor's degree in journalism, with a minor in business administration, from Rutgers University in 2022.
