Nicole Bordelon collaborates as a consultant with sports medicine, strength and conditioning, and coaching staff members to develop injury prevention and performance enhancement strategies for University of Maryland's Softball team.
She also works as a remote post-doctoral student in Auburn University's Sports Medicine and Movement Laboratory, where she specializes in baseball and softball injury prevention and performance enhancement research.
Nicole additionally received a PhD in biomechanics from Auburn University, where she completed a dissertation examining the relationship between energy flow, mechanics, and collegiate softball hitting performance. Lastly, she obtained a Master’s in exercise science from the University of Wyoming, and a Bachelor’s in kinesiology and health from California State University of San Bernardino.
Nicole’s biggest supporter and best friend is her husband, Wes Bordelon, who also works for the University of Maryland as an Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning for football.Â
