As a Senior (2012): Started all 26 games ... one of the team's top defenders ... ranked sixth on the team in steals (26) ... had the third best steals-to-turnover margin (+17) on the team ...posted a career-high tying two goals on three occasions (vs. UC Irvine, 2/11; vs. Gannon, 3/3; vs. Santa Clara, 3/25).

As a Junior (2011): Started in all 30 appearances ... earned ACWPC All-Academic honors ... member of the CWPA Women's Varsity Scholar-Athlete Team ... tied for eighth on the team in goals (15) ... finished fifth on the team in assists (20) ... had the second best steals-to-turnover margin (+17) on the team ... posted career-high tying two goals in four games (vs. CSUEB, 2/13; vs. Marist, 2/26; vs. Brown, 4/17, vs. Princeton, 4/29) ... had a career-best four points vs. CSUEB and matched that total vs. Siena (3/13) ... posted a career-high three assists two different games (vs. Siena, 3/13; vs. Bucknell, 4/30).

As a Sophomore (2010): Started in all 34 games ... earned ACWPC All-Academic honors ... tied for fifth on the team in goals (21) ... tied for fourth on the team in assists (14) ... had the best steals-to-turnover margin (+13) on the team ... matched a career high with two goals in five games (vs. Long Beach, 2/7; vs. Gannon, 2/13; vs. Bucknell, 4/18, vs. GWU, 4/25; vs. Harvard, 5/2) ... posted a season-high two assists in three different games (vs. GWU, 3/31; vs. Hatwick, 4/30; vs. Harvard, 5/2).

As a Freshman (2009): Saw action in 29 games, including one start ... earned ACWPC All-Academic honors ... contributed 13 goals in the season ... tied for third on the team in steals (26) ... had the second-best steals-to-turnover margin (+26) on the team ... posted a career-high two goals in three different games (vs. The Redlands, 2/8; vs. Harvard, 2/28; vs. CSU Monterey Bay, 3/17) ... season high in points (three) also came vs. CSU Monterey Bay.

Before Maryland: Four-year starter for her high school water polo and swimming teams ... rookie of the year for the water polo and swimming squads in 2005 ... best defensive player, as well as a second team all-league choice, in both 2006 and 2007 ... her club team, Santa Barbara Water Polo Club, won the National Junior Olympics in 2007 and placed third in 2008 ... team MVP, first team all-league and third team All-California Interscholastic Federation in 2008.

Personal: Parents are Mike Goetsch and Carlene Hardesty ... has one sister, Nicole, who attended Vanderbilt University ... elected vice president of the student body as a senior in high school ... an elementary education major, with a minor in Spanish ... wants to be an elementary school teacher after college.
