Holly Frantz was hired as the Director of Strength & Conditioning for Olympic Sports in July 2018. Her responsibilities include the oversight of 15 Olympic Sports and five full-time staff members. Frantz also works directly with the women’s lacrosse and softball teams and is in charge of all aspects of their strength & conditioning development.Â

In May 2017, Frantz was named Master Strength & Conditioning Coach by the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association, which is the highest honor given in the strength & conditioning profession.

Before arriving in College Park, Frantz spent nine years at the University of Tennessee, where she contributed to multiple conference and national achievements of the softball, women’s golf, volleyball and swimming & diving teams.
Â
Prior to her time at Tennessee, she worked at Xavier University for four years primarily with the women’s basketball, volleyball, and women’s soccer, and both men’s & women’s golf and tennis teams. Frantz also spent a year at the University of Notre Dame directly working with rowing and both men’s & women’s golf and tennis teams.

Frantz was a graduate assistant in strength & conditioning at her alma mater, Bowling Green State University, where she received both her bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in marketing and her master's degree in education with an emphasis in sport administration.

While at Bowling Green, Frantz was a four-year letter winner and captain for the Falcons' softball team. Frantz is certified through the following organizations: National Strength & Conditioning Association, Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, USA Weightlifting, Titleist Performance Institute and Functional Movement Systems. Â
