As a Freshman (2014): Did not see playing time.

Before Maryland: Earned first team all-state, all-region and all-conference honors in 2013 after leading East Grand Rapids to its first state title in history...among the top-10 in kills in Michigan as a senior...named all-region and all-conference in 2012...named all-conference in 2011 as East Grand Rapids advanced to the state semifinals...played six seasons for the Michigan Volleyball Academy, winning two state championships and earning the prep volleyball all-academic award.

Personal: Caroline Knooihuizen...daughter of David and Ann Knooihuizen...has two older siblings, Clark and Kristine...born in Grand Rapids, Mich....spent two years in the National Honor Society...earned a 4.0 GPA...involved in American Cancer Society Relay for Life...came to Maryland because she loves the team, campus and Big Ten Conference...interested in pursuing a career in interior design or architecture.
