BEFORE MARYLAND:
- Spent four seasons at Penn State University, amassing a 22-7 record in that time, including a 13-4 mark in dual meets.
- Won Mat-Town and Wilkes Open as a true freshman.
- Also played a season of football at Penn State.
- Four-year varsity wrestling captain at Clovis High School, the same school as teammate Dario Lemus.
- Compiled a 169-1 prep school record en route to four straight California state championships.
- Was FloWrestling's tenth-ranked recruit in the nation when he committed to the Nittany Lions in 2017.
