University of Maryland Athletics

Derrick Morton joined the University of Maryland athletics department as an IT Desktop Support Specialist in June of 2017. Morton provides information technology solutions and services for staff members, coaches, and student athletes to help enhance their experience in utilizing technology.

Morton started at the University of Maryland in 2008, working within the College of Education, Student Services Department. From there, he worked full-time while attending courses at UMUC, until graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree in information systems, and a minor certificate in computer networking in 2015.

Morton is a native of Washington, D.C., and enjoys competitive bowling around the region, and being a Terp!
