Dezerea Bryant-Moore joined the track & field program serving as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024-25 season. Bryant-Moore is responsible for the oversight of the women's sprint event group.
Bryant-Moore came to College Park after an illustrious career competing at the highest levels. She has been a dedicated professional athlete since 2016, representing the United States in numerous international track and field competitions, including the World Championships in 2015 & 2019.Â
In 2019, Bryant-Moore achieved extraordinary success, earning the title of USA Track & Field 200-meter dash champion. At the World Championships in Doha, she secured a bronze medal in the 4x100-meter relay and an admirable fifth-place finish in the 200 meters. Her remarkable talents propelled her to the fifth rank globally in 2019 and the 11th rank in 2021. Bryant-Moore also earned the distinction of being a finalist in the USA Olympic trials for the 200 meters in 2021.
Before embarking on her professional journey, Bryant-Moore served as a volunteer assistant coach for two seasons (2015-17) with the University of Tennessee track & field program. During this tenure, she collaborated closely with Tim Hall, focusing on the sprints and relays event group. Most recently she spent that past season coaching at the University of Delaware working with the sprint group (2023-24).
Bryant-Moore boasted an impressive collegiate career, having excelled at both Clemson and Kentucky's track & field programs. Her collegiate journey was marked by an impressive 17 All-American honors and a collegiate record in the 200 meters with a blazing time of 22.18 seconds.
Her collegiate career began at Clemson, where she amassed nine All-American accolades and ten All-ACC distinctions in her freshman and sophomore years. She claimed an impressive nine ACC Championships across indoor and outdoor events, competing in the 60 meters and 200 meters indoors and the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 400 meters outdoors.Â

Later at Kentucky, Bryant-Moore secured eight All-American honors and was recognized as a 14-time All-SEC performer. She clinched the 2014 SEC Indoor championship in the 60 meters with a remarkable time of 7.16 seconds. In her final collegiate race, she achieved a triumphant victory in the 200 meters NCAA National Championship, recording an astonishing time of 22.18 seconds.Â

Bryant-Moore was inducted into Kentucky's Hall of Fame in 2022. On the international stage, she earned gold medals at the 2010 and 2012 World Junior Championships as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team.Â
A native of Milwaukee, Wis., she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Community Leadership in 2015.
