Rovetto is responsible for countless feature stories and recaps on the website, and many of his pieces have garnered national attention, being picked up by the NCAA, Big Ten and others. He was nominated for six 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Fred Stabley Sr. writing awards, including one District 2 winner and five runner-up nominations.

He was also the script writer for the 2024 Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony narrated by Johnny Holliday. In addition to writing, he assists with social media content creation.

Rovetto graduated from Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism, where he studied journalism from 2021-23. As a student, he interned with PressBox as a sportswriter and editor before briefly taking on a Maryland men's basketball beat for the Baltimore publication in November 2023.

The Maryland alum also worked with the campus publication Terrapin Sports Central from November 2022 to December 2023, covering Maryland men's basketball and football. In the classroom, he contributed to several projects published by the Capital News Service, including their Youth Tackle Football project in conjunction with the Shirley Povich Center for Sports Journalism and Howard Center for Investigative Journalism.

One of the projects he contributed to as a student was 'Lethal Restraint,' an investigation into police use of force. The project was named a finalist for a 2025 Pulitzer Prize in the investigative reporting category.

A native of Oak Ridge, New Jersey, Rovetto earned his associate's degree in journalism from County College of Morris. He worked as a broadcaster and camera operator for Big State Sports while attending community college.

Rovetto played for Maryland's club flag football team, which finished as the men's runner-up at the 2023 Nirsa Championship Series National Flag Football Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He is one of three brothers and has a 5-year-old nephew named Liam. Rovetto enjoys working out, playing flag football, and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles when he isn't covering Maryland's sports teams.
