The Terps have won two consecutive games entering tonight's game and can match their longest winning streak of the season with a victory over the Wolfpack. The Terps have won three consecutive games on three occasions this season and have not lost more than two in a row. Maryland defeated N.C. State, 68-65, earlier this season on Jan. 10 in Raleigh. The win marked the fourth consecutive for the Terps in Reynolds Coliseum.

TERPS ARE 10-1 IN COLE FIELD HOUSE THIS SEASON
Maryland enters tonight's game with a 10-1 record in Cole Field House this season. The Terps have won four straight at home and have defeated three consecutive ranked teams in this building. Most recently, the Terps defeated Virginia, 77-70, on Feb. 1. The Terps won their first six games of the season in Cole.
ELLIOTT HEATS UP FROM THE FIELD
Senior Rodney Elliott hit a career-high four three-point field goals against Florida State as the Terps defeated the Seminoles, 68-62, on Saturday in Tallahassee. The four made shots from beyond the arc marked the fifth time this season that he had made multiple three-point shots in a single game. Maryland is undefeated in those five games (Mt. St. Mary's, Florida International, then No. 2 Kansas, UNC - Wilmington and Florida State.

PROFIT STEALING HIS WAY INTO THE RECORD BOOKS
Junior Laron Profit enters tonight's game vs. N.C. State with a career-high 66 steals. He is the ACC leader in steals in both all games -- with 66 -- and ACC games only with 34. He has garnered multiple steals in 18 of 21 games this season and is looking to become the first player in school history to average 3.0 steals per game or more during a single season.

Sarunas Jasikevicius scored 18 points, including two free throws in the final minute, to lead Maryland to a win over N.C. State on Jan. 10. Maryland led 68-63 after Jasikevicius split two free throws with 16.4 seconds left. A layup by C.C. Harrison cut the lead to 68-65 with 8.9 seconds remaining but the Pack couldn't steal the ensuing inbounds pass and was forced to foul Rodney Elliott.
TERPS LAST TIME OUT - DEFEAT FLORIDA STATE

Rodney Elliott scored 10 of his 16 points in the second half, including two free throws with 48 seconds left Saturday, as No. 25 Maryland recovered from an 11-point deficit to defeat Florida State 68-62. Laron Profit also scored 16 points for the Terrapins, who trailed 34-23 in the first half and were still down 53-45 with 9:55 left. Obinna Ekezie added 11 points and a game-high 9 rebounds for Maryland, which has won 9 of its last 11 against Florida State, including both games this season. Elliott took the game over in the second half, scoring eight straight points in a
span of 87 seconds to tie the game 57-57. Profit gave the Terps the lead
with 3:43 left on a dunk after he intercepted a pass by Florida State's
Kerry Thompson.

RODNEY ELLIOTT DAY IN BALTIMORE
Baltimore Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke proclaimed Jan. 26, 1998 as "Rodney Elliott Day" in the city of Baltimore. The announcement was made at the Camden Club which is in the warehouse in right field of Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Senior Sarunas Jasikevicius has hit eight of his last 13 shots (61.5 percent) from the three-point line.
