BATON ROUGE, La. - Senior forward Emmy Harbo scored a career-high and school record four goals and added one assist for a career-high a school record nine total points to lead Maryland past Louisiana State, 7-0, in the first round of the LSU Invitational at LSU Soccer Complex here tonight. Harbo became the first player in school history to score more than three goals in a single game in the 11-year history of the program.

Maryland improves to 10-8-1 while Louisiana State falls to 8-9-2. It marked Maryland's second consecutive victory.

Harbo, who was playing in her hometown of Baton Rouge for the first time in her collegiate career, scored all four of her goals in the second half after Maryland had taken a 2-0 halftime lead. Her four goals came in a span of 10 minutes and 21 second in the second half. She scored goals in the 70th, 72nd, 76th and 81st minutes. She was credited with an assist on Maryland's first goal of the night.

Harbo has now scored 16 goals this season and has 56 for her career. Her 56 career goals ties her with senior forward Keri Sarver for the all-time program lead.

Maryland's Tina Lacertosa scored her first career goal at the 40:37 mark of the first half. Junior midfielder Emily Janss scored less than three minutes later to give the Terps a 2-0 halftime advantage. Following Harbo's four-goal outburst in the second half, junior midfielder Lyndsay Basalyga closed out the scoring at the 84:38 mark.

Goalkeeper Riki-Ann Serrins and Ali Wolff combined to make one save and recorded the fifth shutout of the season the Terps.
