COLLEGE PARK, Md.- - Sasho Cirovski and Shannon Higgins-Cirovski, Maryland's head men's and women's soccer coaches, will be featured tonight on Washington's WRC Channel 4 at approximately 5:50 p.m. The piece will take a look at the couple's ventures on the field, in support of each other's coaching careers, and with their daughters Karli (3) and Hailey (5).

Maryland is the only Division I major soccer program in the country to have a husband-and-wife head coaching duo. With the hiring of Higgins-Cirovski on Jan. 13, 1999, the women's program began a new era at Maryland and the words 'soccer family' took on new meaning for the Terrapins. Cirovski has been the men's head coach at Maryland since 1993.

The men's soccer team is 3-1 (1-1 ACC) and is currently ranked No.1 by Soccer America. They take on Monmouth in their next game on Wednesday. The game starts are 7 p.m. at Ludwig Field on the Maryland campus. The next home women's game is Sept. 26 against No. 13 James Madison.
