For the season: 15 games, 17.1 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 3.1 apg, 2.8 bpg, .538 FG%, .744 FT%, .353 3-PT%.
Comment: Morris is one of college basketball's premier players because he does everything so well. He leads Maryland in scoring, field-goal percentage and blocked shots and is also among the team leaders in rebounding assists and steals. Morris has been the Terrapins' leading scorer in seven of their last 10 games.
Morris Surpasses 1,000 Career Points Junior All-American Terence Morris (Frederick, Md.) became the 35th player in history to score 1,000 career points when he surpassed the mark against Duke in Cole Field House on Jan. 9. Morris became the 18th junior in school history to reach the plateau. In addition, he reached the 1,000-point plateau in 81 career games to become the 17th fastest player in school history to score 1,000 career points.
Morris Approaches 500 Career Rebounds Junior forward Terence Morris needs only 17 rebounds to become the 29th player in school history to grab 500 rebounds. He enters Saturday's game against Georgia Tech with 483 rebounds in 81 career games for a 5.9 rebounds per game average during his career. Only 17 players in school history have reached the 500 rebound plateau in 82 or fewer games. In addition, Morris is looking to become only the 11th junior in school history to reach the 500 rebound plateau.
Morris Averaging Double-Double Junior All-American Terence Morris is averaging a double-double of 17.8 points and 11.2 rebounds since Maryland's victory over Winthrop on Dec. 7. He has scored in double figures six times and grabbed double figures rebounds four times during the seven-game span.

Morris In The Scoring Column Junior All-American Terence Morris has scored in double figures in 11 of Maryland's last 12 games. He has scored 20 or more points six times and scored his season high of 25 points against then-No. 10 Kentucky on Nov. 24 in Madison Square garden.
Morris Up For An Oscar Junior All-American Terence Morris has been announced as a candidate for the Oscar Robertson Award as the National Player of the Year by the United States Basketball Writers Association. He is one of 28 players on the checklist for the prestigious award.
