A: Besides the UMD women's soccer team, I would have to say the famous Terps Men's Basketball team
Q: Who is your favorite athlete at Maryland?
A: Tahj Holden
Q: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you while playing soccer here at Maryland?
A: We, the goalkeepers, were doing a tipping drill where we would go out and touch the ball in Kerry's hand then drop step to the goal line as she tried to chip us. I had two more saves to make. I then dropped a step and tipped the ball over the crossbar as I started running at Kerry for the last save. I ate it! My feet had gotten tangled in the net from the last save. So there I am lying face down with the grass surely in my teeth. I slowly look up to see Jen Boyd, Steve, and Shannon rolling on the ground in hysterics.
Q: Why did you come to Maryland?
A: I came here for the large, diverse school. It is part of a winning sports program that consists of great people.
Q: What is the best thing about Maryland?
A: Maryland Soccer!!!
Q: What are a few words that describe you on the field?
A: talkative and demanding
Q: Who is the UMD soccer player that will surprise the school this year?
A: Valerie Lawrence
Q: If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be?
A: Jesus, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Oprah Winfrey
Q: What do you want to accomplish this season?
A: A national championship!
Q: What is your pre-game ritual?
A: I always sprint to my goal after they play The National Anthem.
Q: What teammate inspires you?
A: Jen Boyd. Through all of her mishaps she will not give up. She will always find a way to make light of a tough situation.
