Comcast SportsNet will televise Saturday afternoon's men's college basketball game from Cole Field House featuring No. 5 Maryland and visiting Delaware State. Saturday's broadcast begins at 1 p.m. with George Johnson calling the play-by-play and Glenn Consor providing analysis.
Maryland, 2-1 after an 83-53 win over American last Saturday, hosts the Hornets in hopes of extending its nation's longest non-conference homecourt win streak to 78 games. In their final year at Cole Field House, the Terrapins have not lost to a non-league opponent since December 12, 1989.
Maryland hosts Delaware State before closing its homestand next Tuesday, Nov. 27, as part of the ACC/Big 10 Challenge when the Terps host No. 2-ranked Illinois at 7 p.m.
Comcast will also carry all four games of the annual BB&T Classic, to be held the following weekend at the MCI Center, with Maryland and George Washington co-hosting Princeton and Connecticut on Sunday, Dec. 2 and Monday, Dec. 3. Maryland meets Princeton at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, followed by the Colonials and the Huskies. Game times for Monday's consolation and championship games are 5:30 and 8.
