Curtis Staples, who starred at Virginia, made six 3-pointers and led EA Sports with 20 points.

It was the second game in two nights for EA Sports, a team comprised of former college players. The All-Stars began their 13-city tour with a 106-99 overtime loss to Old Dominion.

After doing little else but running drills for two straight weeks, the Terrapins quickly adapted to playing in game conditions. Dixon scored the opening six points and Baxter added a dunk and a layup in Maryland's 12-0 run.

EA Sports closed to 21-18 before different Terrapins scored in a 10-0 run capped by a 3-pointer by Blake. Minutes later, Blake made five foul shots in an 11-2 spurt that made it 49-34.

Maryland opened the second half in similar fashion to the first. Chris Wilcox scored successive baskets inside, then Baxter had a layup and a sunk to cap an 8-0 burst that put the Terrapins up by 20.
