Comcast To Televise Terps Basketball Games

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland men's basketball games scheduled for Dec. 27 and Jan. 3 will now be televised live on Comcast SportsNet, assuring that every Maryland basketball game will be on television through the rest of the season.
Approval for the regional cable network to carry the games was granted by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Maryland, which plays Monmouth on Tuesday evening at Cole Field House, will host William & Mary at 8 p.m. on Jan. 27, and Norfolk State at 8 p.m. on Jan. 3. Both games will be televised live.
By regular season's end, the No. 2-ranked Terrapins will have appeared on television in 27 of 28 regular season games. All games of the ACC Tournament are televised live on ESPN and Raycom/Jefferson-Pilot. All games of the NCAA Tournament are televised live on CBS.
