Recap| Box Score| Quotes

- Maryland dropped to 15-9 on the season and 6-6 in the ACC after falling, 74-71, to Florida State. The Terrapins still lead the all-time series with the Seminoles, 17-5.

- The Seminole win was their first at Cole Field House since February 13, 1993. The Terrapins had won 10-straight meetings coming into tonight's game.

- Freshman Chris Wilcox got the start at forward for the Terrapins tonight, marking the first time a Maryland freshman has started in the front court since Lonny Baxter's start against NC State in 1998.

- Wilcox responded in his first start with a career-high 13 points on a team-best 6-of-7 shooting. He also added four rebounds (two offensive). His previous high was a nine-point effort against Michigan on December 2, 2000.

- Point guard Steve Blake finished the game with eight points and 10 assists. His double-digit effort in assists is his fourth of the season and his best outing against an ACC opponent. He also had two big three pointers in the closing minute as the Terps staged a late rally.
