Wilcox Named ACC's Player Of The Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Chris Wilcox, a 6-10, 220-pound sophomore from Whiteville, N.C., turned in back-to-back double-doubles leading Maryland to a pair of ACC victories including a win over top-ranked Duke.
Wilcox scored a career-high 23 points in Sunday's 87-73 win over the Blue Devils. He also led the Terrapins with 11 rebounds, a pair of steals and three assists.
Against Georgia Tech earlier in the week, Wilcox had 14 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in a 85-65 as Maryland defeated the Yellow Jackets 85-65.
For the week, Wilcox scored 37 points with 23 rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks as Maryland raised its record to 21-3 overall and took over sole possession of first place in the ACC.
