Dixon, who was named a first-team All-American Monday by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, was joined on the select USBWA listing by Duke's Jason Williams, Cincinnati's Steve Logan, Kansas' Drew Gooden and Gonzaga's Dan Dickau.
Second-team selections were Sam Clancy (USC), Mike Dunleavy (Duke), Casey Jacobsen (Stanford), Jared Jeffries (Indiana) and David West (Xavier).
Two other Terps were also cited by the USBWA, as senior forward Lonny Baxter joined Dixon on the all-district team and Gary Williams was named district coach of the year.
