National Champion Terrapin Stars To Take Part In Magic Johnson Charity Game In August

In support of its focus on education and youth, the Magic Johnson Foundation is proud to host its 17th annual "A Midsummer Night's Magic" fundraising weekend beginning Thursday August 8, 2002 in Los Angeles, California.
Among a group of 12 players scheduled to appear among the College All-Stars, against a preliminary group of 14 NBA All-Stars, are former Maryland Terrapins Lonny Baxter, Juan Dixon and Chris Wilcox. All three Maryland players are scheduled to participate in the annual Celebrity Basketball game to take place on Saturday, August 11 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
