WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Riding on a bus home for hours after suffering a loss is not how any of us hoped to spend our Saturday morning.

Last night, at Spry Stadium, we added a new weapon. We learned that there is truth to Winston Churchill after all, when he said "Never give up. Never, never give up."

When Simone Dekker tied the score only seconds before the half after a direct kick was called in our favor, we understood the value of time and to never give up.

Wake Forest did show us the door, putting in two more goals in the second half to make the final score 3-1.

We are heading back to our home turf with our new weapon in our back pocket - to never give up. We are ready to take on George Washington Sunday afternoon looking to get back on the winning track.
