
Maryland Men's Basketball Preview Special To Air Sunday On Comcast SportsNet

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - With the Terps' first exhibition game right around the corner, Comcast SportsNet's Chick Hernandez will host "The Next Generation: A Maryland Basketball Preview" premiering this Saturday, November 8 at 11 p.m. on the regional sports television network.
The Terrapins open their exhibition schedule against the EA Sports All-Stars on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet.
Comcast's half hour program will look ahead to the upcoming Maryland men's basketball season with a focus on the young players expected to lead the team this year. An interview with Coach Gary Williams and a preview of the Atlantic Coast Conference will also be featured.
In addition, Hernandez will sit down to talk with Hall of Fame broadcaster Johnny Holiday, who enters his 25th season as the "Voice of the Terrapins" this fall.
The show premieres this Saturday, November 8 at 11 p.m. and will be rebroadcast on Sunday, November 9 at 6 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. just prior to tip off of Comcast SportsNet's live coverage of the Terps exhibition game against EA Sports.
