COLLEGE PARK, Md. - It was been announced that WBAL (1090 AM) has decided to shift coverage of Maryland's NCAA First Round game vs. UNC Wilmington to 98 Rock (WIYY 97.9) on Friday night. Rather than interrupt, or not carry the Terps' game due to breaking war news, WBAL made this decision to guarantee complete coverage in the Baltimore area.

WBAL plans to broadcast Sunday's second-round game, should the Terps advance, but the coverage is subject to change.

At the present time, WMAL (630 AM) is still planning to cover the Terrapins' games in their entirety in the Washington, D.C., area.
