Maryland Baseball Downed By Buffalo, 6-0

RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Maryland was unable to close out the series with the University at Buffalo this afternoon, as it fell 6-0 to the Bulls. The Terps came up with six hits against Buffalo's Sean McWilliams who threw a complete game for the shutout.
Starting on the mound for the Terps, Sean Kane didn't allow any earned runs after giving up eight hits. He tied his career-high with six strikeouts against the Bulls and issued just one walk in the game. Justin Hulse came on to relieve Kane in the ninth inning.
Bobby Ryan had a strong day at the plate for the Terps, hitting two doubles in three at bats. Kevin Hart and Will Frazier also had two hits on the day.
The Maryland baseball team will be in action on Tuesday, March 9, when they face off against Towson University in Towson, Md., at 2:30 p.m.
