Maryland (No. 12 ESPN/USA Today, No. 14 AP) looks for its sixth straight win and its 10th win in the last 11 games in the last of four consecutive non-conference home games...At 10-2, the Terps are off to their best start since the 2001-02 season (13-2)...The 12th-ranked Terps are at their highest ranking since Nov. 29, 2004 (No. 12)...Maryland is 8-0 at home this season and has won 11 straight games at Comcast Center dating back to last year...The Terps have won 28 consecutive non-conference home games...Maryland is averaging a league-high 84.1 points per game and five different Terps have led the team in scoring in the last six contests...The Terps have allowed an average of 16.7 points in the first half of the last three games, while outscoring their opponents, 135-50...With 344 wins as the Terps' head coach, Gary Williams is just five wins shy of becoming Maryland's all-time winningest coach.

Nik Caner-Medley is averaging 13.0 points and 5.0 assists the last two games, while shooting 65.0% (11-17 FG) from the floor. He has also moved into 26th place on Maryland's all-time scoring list with 1,227 career points...Chris McCray has scored in double figures in all 11 games he has played this season and 14 straight contests dating back to last year. He ranks second in the ACC with an 89.8% FT...Ekene Ibekwe has averaged 14.0 points and 8.8 rebounds the last five games and has led the Terps in rebounding in four straight contests...D.J. Strawberry has 101 steals in 57 career games and has recorded at least one steal in 16 straight contests dating back to last season.

Last time out, D.J. Strawberry scored a team-high 16 points as the Terps had five players score in double figures in a 99-68 win over VMI. Maryland jumped out to a 13-0 lead and led 56-20 at the half. Chris McCray added 15 points and Parrish Brown came off the bench to score a career-best 13 points and dish out four assists. The Terps had 28 assists on 40 field goals and shot a season-best 56 percent from the field. Nik Caner-Medley added 10 points and matched a career best with six assists, while Sterling Ledbetter came off the bench to record five assists in 18 minutes. Maryland got 40 points from its bench and all 12 players saw action.

Head coach Gary Williams is the Atlantic Coast Conference's second-winningest active coach (5th overall) with a 344-180 (.656) record as the Terps' mentor, while also ranking second among active ACC coaches (4th overall) with 140 conference wins. Williams is the 11th-winningest active coach in NCAA Division I men's basketball with an overall record of 551-308 (.640). He is just five wins shy of becoming Maryland's all-time winningest basketball coach (Charles "Lefty" Driesell, 348-159 from 1969-86).
