All Terrapin Fans Invited To Purchase NIT Tickets

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - All Maryland basketball fans are invited to purchase tickets for the Terrapins' first-round NIT match-up with either Manhattan or Fairleigh Dickinson. The top-seeded Terps host the winner of the opening round game Saturday, March 18 at 11 a.m. at Comcast Center.
1. Maryland will host up to three rounds of the NIT. Should Maryland win its first-round game, it will play a second-round game vs. the winner of Colorado/Old Dominion on Monday, March 20 (time TBD). Should Maryland win its second round game, it will play a third-round game on Wednesday, March 22 (time TBD).
2. Ticket orders may be placed now for any or all of the potential three rounds that Maryland may host. Your credit card will be charged then credited within 10 days should Maryland not advance to the second or third rounds.
3. Tickets are $25 each (includes the cost of parking).
4. Orders may be placed online (www.umterps.com), via fax (301-314-4920), via phone (301-314-7070) or in person at the Terrapin Ticket Office (M-F, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.).
5. Tickets will be held in will call at the main entrance of the Comcast Center beginning March 16 at Noon. On game day, will call tickets will be held in a tent outside the Comcast Center.
6. Walk-up ticket sales will occur at the Comcast Center ticket windows as long as tickets remain. Comcast Center arena doors will open at 9 a.m. for the 11 a.m. contest.
7. Parking lots available for the regular season (excluding 4B) will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and open three hours prior to tip off.
STUDENT FANS can claim tickets online at www.tickets.umd.edu. The Department of Athletics is providing 4,000 free tickets to the student body.
Current Season Ticket Holders
1. Upon ordering for any or all of the three possible rounds, current season ticket holders must state whether they want to keep their same season ticket location or best available seats (as determined by the Ticket Office in Terpoint priority rank order). To get the same seats or to have seats assigned in Terpoint priority rank order, ticket orders to any or all of the three rounds must be placed by Wednesday, March 15th at Noon.
2. Ticket orders placed after March 15th will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
General Public
1. Orders are currently being accepted and will be filled following orders from current season ticket holders and orders from Terrapin Club members who are not men's basketball season ticket holders, which were placed before March 15 at Noon.
