Bethesda, MD - Comcast SportsNet, the leader in local sports television, travels to College Park Sunday, Feb. 11, for one of the hottest rivalries in ACC basketball. SportsNite on Campus heads to Comcast Center to capture the traditions, excellence and fanfare of Maryland basketball. Part of a live college basketball quadruple-header, the network will air Maryland's matchup against the Blue Devils live at 5 p.m. Sunday. Comcast SportsNet's Chick Hernandez and the SportsNite on Campus crew will also be live from Comcast Center during halftime with special guest interviews and first-half analysis.
Comcast SportsNet will also feature SportsNite on Campus segments Sunday during SportsNite at 10 p.m. Highlights include an exclusive postgame interview with Maryland head coach Gary Williams, a special behind-the-scenes tour of Cole Field House, a "Day at the Office" feature following longtime Maryland public address announcer Mac Barrett, and an in-depth look at the relationship between Maryland assistant coach Chuck Driesell and his father, legendary Terrapins coach Lefty Driesell.
Comcast SportsNet begins its weeklong coverage of Maryland basketball Tuesday, Feb. 6, when the Terrapins play host to the University of Virginia live on the network at 9 p.m. Throughout the week, SportsNite will feature The Gary Williams Report, Gary Williams Mic'd Up and more.
