Previous Terps Tumble Talks

After getting back I was very encouraged by the team and how good everyone looks. How many times have we started a new season with such high hopes...however, after seeing all the skills that are already being thrown, maybe this is our year. The addition of four highly regarded freshmen, a stellar transfer, a healthy sophomore class and some great leadership from our upper class makes me feel like it's our time to shine. I can assure you all that we have our eyes set on the prize; Regionals and then on to Nationals.

The skill level just in our first few unofficial practices has been exciting...the geingers from Lisa and Alyssa are huuuge as are the tckachev's from Candice and Brandi. Gretchen looks like she's in competition form on beam already and Michele is working a new vault. Kelsey N and Kelsey M (they will get their nicknames soon) are also vaulting aggressively and Allie and Gretchen have already displayed new floor routines! Mo, Lindsey and Talia are returning from post season injuries and look like they are almost ready to break loose. And, what would the season be without meeting with doctors and getting physicals. Abbey and Kaitlin will finally get to train this week as they have just been cleared to participate. These two look like they are ready to explode onto the scene. You will know by the huge smile on my face that Vick, Brett and I have a great group of girls with huge potential. It's our time to shine!
