Maryland picked up it's 10th ACC win of the season. It is the program's third straight season with double-digit conference wins. It's the first time in program history that the Terps have won 10 or more league games three straight seasons.
Senior Laura Harper broke Maryland's all-time blocks record, rejecting the 187th shot of her career. Harper broke Kris Kirchner's record of 186, which had stood for 28 years.
Harper also recorded her 20th-career double-double and her 10th of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Maryland has had at least one player with a double-double in 23 of 28 games this season.
Freshman Marah Strickland broke out of a two-game slump, netting a career-high 20 points, shooting a perfect 5-for-5 from 3-point range and 6-for-8 overall.
Strickland also shot 3-for-3 from the free-throw line. She is now a perfect 18-for-18 from the charity stripe this season.
Senior Ashleigh Newman hit her first 3-pointer since Dec. 20, 2007 at James Madison. Newman finished with 15 points, making three 3-pointers.
For the second consecutive game, Harper tied a career high with four assists.
Maryland extended its record home-win streak to 18 games. It is the fourth-longest in the nation, due to Tennesse's home loss to LSU Thursday night.
The 27-point victory was Maryland's second 20+-point victory in the last eight contests. The Terps now have 12 wins of 20 or more points this season.
Maryland's 11 3-pointers are the most since knocking down an ACC-record 17 against UMBC on Dec. 30. The Terrapins had also not made more than five 3-pointers since making eight in the win against Duke Jan. 14.
Maryland recorded 20 assists for the ninth time this season.
The Terps shot 50 percent from 3-point range, going 11-for-22. It was the first time in ACC play the Terps shot over .500 from deep.
The Terps are now a perfect 6-0 all-time against the Eagles.
