COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 5 Maryland women's lacrosse team had quite the weekend in Massachusetts for its two games. The Terrapins ended up snowed in at the Clarion Hotel in Northampton but the made most of it, even putting on a synchronized swimming routine for hotel guests. The Terps were all business too, beating UMass, 18-7, and Boston College, 23-10, in their first two games of the season.
The photo gallery above provides a view from the sidelines in Maryland's two games in the Bay State. Pictures from the women's adventures last Friday can be seen here.
The Terps are gearing up for a big match up in Durham, N.C. on Saturday as they face No. 3 Duke at noon. Maryland will then turn around and host No. 2 Virginia on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
The Cavaliers' schedule isn't any easier than Maryland's - they host No. 4 Syracuse on Saturday. They also travel to Richmond to take on the Spiders on Wednesday night which means their game against the Terps will be their third in seven days.
The game between the Terps and Virginia will be televised nationally on CSTV. It is the first of three TV games for Maryland with the game at Johns Hopkins being aired on ESPNU and CSTV carrying the Georgetown game.
