COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland baseball team welcomes the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Towson University this week in preparation for this weekend's ACC series finale against North Carolina State.
The Terps enter the week with a 26-24 overall record, but are looking to break a five-game losing streak. Maryland needs to split its last six games of the regular season to finish with a winning record for the first time since 2002. With a 2-4 finish in the regular season, the Terps will finish at exactly .500.
UMES comes to Shipley Field at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The Terps defeated the Hawks in an earlier meeting this season, 14-1 on April 16. The Terps are 36-1 all-time against the Hawks.
The Towson Tigers make the short trip south for a 7 p.m. matchup on Wednesday. The Terps will be looking to avoid the season sweep at the hands of the Tigers as Towson has easily won the first two games between the schools this season.
Audio of both games will be available live online at WMUCSports.com. ACCSelect.com will air video of both games on demand at the game's conclusion.
