Ball Security: The Terps took exceptionally good care of the basketball versus Boston College, committing a season-low nine turnovers (previous low: 10 on three occasions). That total was the lowest by Maryland in nearly a year (also nine turnovers vs. Virginia on Jan. 31, 2008).

Maryland's No. 1: Forward Landon Milbourne found his shooting stroke early and often for the Terps en route to scoring 14 points, including 12 in the first half, along with a team-high seven rebounds. The junior contributed 10 of the team's first 23 points, as he opened the contest shooting 4-of-6 from the field. During the last four games, Milbourne is averaging 16.8 points while shooting 53 percent. He has led or tied for the team lead in rebounding in each of the last six contests.

Venezuelan Sensation: Making his 56th consecutive start for the Terps, guard Greivis Vasquez rekindled his scoring touch during Tuesday's game, notching a game-high 18 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The reigning All-ACC nominee scored 10 points during the second half and connected on three 3-pointers. He now has scored in double figures in 43 of his last 47 games.

Perfection: Guard Sean Mosley had a perfect night shooting the ball, as he shot 4-of-4 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free throw line en route to 10 points, giving Maryland four double-digit scorers against the Eagles. It marked the fourth double-figure scoring effort of Mosley's career.

Buoyed by Bowie: Like Milbourne, guard Adrian Bowie has been at his best for Maryland this season during conference play. The sophomore tallied 12 points against Boston College, including eight points on 4-of-5 shooting during the first half. Bowie has scored in double figures in all but one ACC contest, and he is averaging 11.4 points during the first seven conference games.

Emphatic Block: Racing back into position during an Eagles' fastbreak early in the second half, forward Dino Gregory swatted Tyrese Rice's shot with authority, sending play back the other way toward Maryland's basket. Gregory currently ranks second on the team with 23 blocks this season.

Assist/Turnover Ratio: The Terps ranked third in the ACC in assist/turnover ratio (1.1) entering Tuesday's game and continued to perform well in that department against the Eagles. Maryland accumulated 13 assists to just nine turnovers (1.4) versus Boston College.

Record Book Update: Several Maryland players have continued their ascents this season through the Maryland record book. With his performance against the Eagles, Greivis Vasquez broke a tie with Drew Nicholas (2000-03) and passed Jim O'Brien (1971-73) to claim 27th place on Maryland's all-time scoring list with 1,139 career points. Vasquez's three 3-pointers versus the Eagles enabled him to tie Duane Simpkins (1993-96) for ninth place in school history with 130 career conversions from behind the arc.

Trey Streak Intact: With Greivis Vasquez's 3-pointer from the corner with 13:22 remaining in the first half, the Terps extended their streak of hitting at least one shot from beyond the arc to 340 consecutive games.
