Neal the Real Deal: Forward Dave Neal scored the first two baskets of Wednesday's game en route to a strong performance. The senior tallied a career-high 18 points and just missed his first career double-double by adding nine rebounds. In the first half alone, Neal posted 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting and six boards.

Venezuelan Sensation: Making his 50th consecutive start for the Terps, guard Greivis Vasquez provided yet another solid all-around game against Morgan State. The reigning All-ACC nominee notched a team-high 19 points along with nine rebounds. Vasquez now has scored in double figures in 39 of his last 41 games. He has led team in scoring the last four games and nine games overall this season.

Maryland's No. 1: Forward Landon Milbourne provided the Terps with a third scoring option Wednesday. The junior contributed 15 points and seven rebounds, six of which were offensive.

Vasquez's Free Throw Streak: Vasquez, who entered Wednesday's game leading the ACC in free throw shooting, hit 8 of 8 shots from the strip against Morgan State to extend his streak of consecutive free throw conversions to 29. The junior guard has not missed a free throw since the game against Michigan on Dec. 3.

Free Throw Precision: Maryland entered Wednesday's contest leading the ACC and ranked second in the nation in free throw shooting (79.5 percent) and continued to shoot well from the strip versus the Bears, hitting 12 of 15 (80 percent).

Record Book Update: Several Maryland players have continued their ascents this season through the Maryland record book. With his performance against Morgan State, Greivis Vasquez passed Buck Williams (1978-81) and Maurice Howard (1973-76) to claim 33rd place all-time at Maryland with 1,164 points. Fellow guard Eric Hayes tallied a game-high six assists versus Morgan State, enabling him to pass D.J. Strawberry (2003-07) for 16th in school history with 318 career helpers.

Trey Streak Intact: With Greivis Vasquez's 3-pointer from the corner near the start of the second half, the Terps extended their streak of hitting at least one shot from beyond the arc to 334 consecutive games.
