Head Coach Gary Williams - 11/19/09
On New Hampshire:
"New Hampshire is a team that has some experience. (They have) two very strong inside players that have done well previously, last year. They're willing to shoot the 3 with their three-guard attack that they start. Conley is a very good returning player from last year. He averaged right around nine per game last year. They have a freshman point guard that they like as much as Fairfield liked their freshman point guard.
"The biggest thing for us to really stay focused. I really like the way my team is working right now. It's very important that we do that no matter who we play against. Anybody on our schedule, we have to play the same way. It's very important against New Hampshire - we'll see a lot of teams like a New Hampshire that are as big as we are. So we have to be ready to go and play our game. That has to be Friday night and that has to be the rest of the way."
On the availability of Jin Soo Choi:
"I'm hoping he will be. He ran straight forward yesterday. If he can get involved today then he'll play tomorrow."
On Landon Milbourne's development:
"He's got the strength and quickness that's really a good combination for being a small forward. Which he is - he's a small forward. You can say he's our second-biggest guy, but he's built like a small forward would be. That's the way he plays."
On Sean Mosley:
"The best thing about Sean, one of the really good things, is that in high school he had to do everything. He had to play center sometimes, he had to bring the ball up, and he had to make free throws at the end of the game. I saw him play enough that I could see that competitiveness in him and his willingness to do whatever it takes to win the game. He's carried that into college. For all those people that say you have to be a certain size or you need a position coming into college, that's not true. What you need is to be a competitor and willing to get better."
