COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The accolades continue to roll in for University of Maryland senior guard Greivis Vasquez.
In his preview of the 2009-10 college basketball season for USA Today, Hall of Fame analyst Dick Vitale tabbed Vasquez as one of the top players in the nation.
Vitale selected Vasquez on his All-Solid Gold Second team, noting his choices for the top 10 players in the nation. He called Vasquez "a magical ballhandler and very creative, a key reason the Terrapins will battle for ACC honors."
Last season, Vasquez became the first player in Maryland history to lead the Terrapins in points, rebounds and assists in the same year.

Maryland opens its 2009-10 regular season on Nov. 13 against Charleston Southern.
