•Maryland improves to 7-1 while Appalachian State falls to 6-2. The Terps lead the all-time series over the Eagles, 4-0.

•Line-up: Alyssa Thomas, Diandra Tchatchouang, Natasha Cloud, Anjale Barrett and Lynetta Kizer. This lineup improves to 4-0.
•Three Terps finished in double figures Sunday. Sophomore Diandra Tchatchouang posted a team-high 17 points, freshman Alyssa Thomas had 13 and junior Lynetta Kizer had 12.
•The Terps outrebounded the Mountaineers 50-37. Maryland has controlled the boards in all eight games this season. •Maryland's 17 turnovers are a season low. The Terps forced 20 turnovers off of Appalachian State and recorded 11 steals to the Mountaineers' six.
•The Terrapins dished out 13 assists, including a team-high three from Anjale Barrett.
Individual Game Notes
•Sophomore Diandra Tchatchouang led the Terps with 17 points.Tchatchouang also brought in seven rebounds, two assists and one block.
•Freshman Alyssa Thomas scored 13 points. Starting in every game this season for Maryland, Thomas also recorded two steals and two rebounds.
•Junior captain Lynetta Kizer recorded the only double-double of the game with 12 points and 10 rebounds
•Freshman Alicia DeVaughn recorded a team-high 13 rebounds, tying Appalachian State's Canesha Edwards for most on the day.
