COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The Maryland men's basketball team returned to the national rankings on Monday.
The Terrapins were 22nd in the Associated Press media poll and came in at 23rd in the ESPN/USA Today coaches' rankings.
It was the first time Maryland has been ranked since Nov. 23, when the Terps were 21st in AP and 22nd in the coaches' poll.
Maryland has clinched at least second place in the ACC regular-season standings after its 104-100 victory at Virginia Tech in double overtime on Saturday. Greivis Vasquez had a career-high 41 points against the Hokies.
The Terrapins will face Duke on Wednesday night at Comcast Center at 9 p.m. in a game nationally televised on ESPN. The Blue Devils, 25-4 overall and 12-2 in the ACC, were ranked fourth in both polls this week.
